Hello from IOWA BOY
« on: March 13, 2009, 09:59:24 PM »
Thought Id see what this forum was like so I joined. Poorboy is the one who told me about this site. I primarily use his products, and I pay for them myself so no shill here. I AM in IOWA and I farm for a living.(corn soybeans oats and alfalfa hay.) Mostly organic. I have a small cow herd and have cattle in the feedlot. Detailing is apart time job I enjoy but it comes after a lot of other things when I have time. RANDAL from IOWA

How much land do you plant?

I have about 100 acres each of corn and soybeans that are NOT organic. Organically, 125 acres of corn and 65 acres of soybeans this year. Ill be seeding down 60 plus acres with oats and alfalfa.

Unless you have a bunch of help, I guess you stay pretty busy most of the time.  Good to see an individual or family still hanging in there.
