Little Green Machine Review
« on: September 21, 2008, 02:38:30 PM »
Finally got the chance to try out my new Little Green Machine proheat today on a car.

I used a generic soap that I've been trying to use up.  Went to work on my little beater car 98 Ford Escort ZX2.
Was kinda a trial day.  Trying out several new products and such on my beater car before they touch my truck or a customer's ride.

Tank seemed small but for this very soiled car I only had to refill three times.
Didn't take any pictures due to this car isn't picture worthy.  cigarette burns in the carpet and so forth from the previous owner.  But a 30+mpg car for $1200 I'll live with them.  lol
It took quite a few passes to clean up the seats but again this thing hasn't been shampooed before, has 140,000 miles on the clock, and on it's second family.

Pros:
Heater works well so that the water doesn't cool down in the tank.
Price can't be beat for an entry level machine
Tank lasts longer than I expected.
Despenses a spray amount that works well (although too wide)
Clear nozzles make it easy to see when it's really dirty and might need more than one pass.

Cons:
Suction could be more powerful but for the price...
Was a little more difficult to clean the machine up after use than I'd like
Spray was too wide for the nozzle to pick up all of the fluid as it went

For a machine under $100 I'm very pleased with it.

Went ahead and did the truck too since I have to get it whipped into shape for a show n shine next weekend.

did get some pictures of it.  Didn't get any before becuase it didn't "look" that dirty.  I was quite suprised with the amount of dirt that came out.

That pretty well hits the nail on the head with my thoughts too - especially the too wide of a spray pattern. For the $49.00 I paid for it though, I guess it was a safe investment. My main gripe is the lack of suction, but I took care of the heavy duty extraction with my Sears Shop Vac.
