we have around 7 hours in this detail.  The whole process started b.c where we park that truck our sprinklers with a little wind hit his truck, mainly the rear driver wheel and bed.....we are on a well for irrigation and it has hard water spots

I can't get them off the rear wheel.    May have to take the wheel off so I can really get after it. I tried Optimum 4:1 power APC and it laughed at me.   I tried letting the soap dwell, nothing, i hit it with stoners window spray, nothing.

Any other suggestions?    Drawing a blank.

I will grabe some sunlight photos tomorrow, letting the poor boys coating cure on the paint in the garage, and tomorrow, we are doing to deep clean the interior and detail it.   We just hadn't had the time with my looking for a job, training for races and son in tennis, just little time to do much

Glad to be posting an actual detail from me of all people.

And if anyone wants to know.
I need to refresh my pads, refresh a lot of products as many of them are gone bad.
Optimum Wash, 2 bucket
Hyperdressing, tires and wells.
Sprayway on the glass
Megs 34 Lube with Megs Blue Clay
Then we used Menzerna SIP on a white Lake pad for the first pass.
Then Menzerna Finish Polish on blue finish pads.
Then Optimum wipe down
Then PoorBoys Ceramic coating.

BTW the PB coating works very differently than Optimum Opti Seal 2.0 or orginal Pro.   Both of my viles of them are toast.    So I am super glad I had a fresh bottle of PB.

Cheers guys

So cool to see your boy polishing!

I will give CLR a shot on those wheels, should not hurt anything but it breaks up minerals pretty good.

I like this!  Let him learn and have some pride!  It goes a long way.

I know Megs 4 heavy cut cleaner works great on glass for hard water that is otherwise unremovable.  I imagine wheels would work the same. But if you likely have Poorboys pro polish on hand, try that.  Pro polish two has the added benefits of non diminishing abrasives if the chemical route isn’t doing it.

CLR for the wheels. A good pat on the back for your son!

I tried vinegar and that didn’t work.   The CLR did the trick.    Ugh.  Lots of scrubbing.   Mike I didn’t even think to use PBPP.    I do have some but once I get employed.   I am gonna have to refresh my products.   A lot of stuff has gone bad.

CLR seems to work well for any mineral deposits, also it’s great to get rust off certain parts.
