I had hoped to mount the compressor in the cab or under the hood, so I’ll have to re-install some stuff. The wireless set up is pretty nice though.

Heated Raptor wheel, wheel heat button climate control ordered. Now I have to figure out what I. Need for a clock spring and any wiring I’ll have to add.

So how do you like the 5.0 compared to the ecoboost?  Stock vs stock.

Stock vs Stock, I think they are very comparable. The power comes on earlier which is nicer in a truck with the eco, but it’s fun to wind out the 5.0.

In the long run, adding the blower will check a lot of boxes for me power wise.

Truck did very well on the trip. About 15.9mpg over the 2700 miles.

Fox 2.5’s swapped over to the rears (someone wanted to buy just the fronts off the old truck). HVAC with heated wheel button added and also installed patch cable and antenna and got Sirius working.

Pretty happy with getting these things knocks out.

Waiting on Raptor wheel, clock spring and some wiring to get the wheel upgrade wrapped up. Then just adaptive cruise control and I’m happy for a little while.

That gives me anxiety.  I hate removing interior and especially dash panels.  I feel like nothing is ever right and perfect again.

Did a 14hr round trip on Friday for a nice deal on some Raptor Parts. Running boards, bumpers, fogs and some random little things off a ‘23 Raptor R.

Selling my stock running boards will pretty much cover the cost of all these parts.

Is that all?  Haha.  You waste zero time.  What’s right in the middle?

Gotta jump on a deal when it presents itself, lol.

That’s the skid plate. Apparently I can run it with a couple aftermarket brackets.

A better question is who is parting out a 23 Raptor R?

Apparently it was one of the Dragons from Canadian Dragon Den. He replaced it all with aftermarket parts.

Waiting on my winch mount, but was able to pick up a new (used) winch for a solid price. I really wanted one with the electric clutch.

Also ordered up the module and bumper harness to add adaptive cruise. Very much looking forward to having that feature.

I rarely if ever use cruise control.  I used the adaptive cruise control on Cassie’s old Outback once and even tried out the lane departure assist which is not a fun thing to try out.  Everything g worked great and the cruise control really was effortless.  I need to be involved though.

I can understand wanting to be involved more in the driving aspect, but sometimes when it’s a long boring road, I just want to set cruise and listen to some tunes.

This is why CC has been upgraded to adaptive, lane departure, pile of sensors making sure everything is as it should be.
Not you, but I think people check out too much when they set CC and turn on a podcast
- They forget the are not on their couch..
