Wash Gloves for Cold
« on: January 29, 2024, 10:16:54 AM »
Hey yall

Haven't been around much, a lot going on and 2023 wasn't a great year for any of us.

Anywho, not sure you all knew that I have issues in the cold with some genetic issues.   One of the challenges i have is my hands and feet.  Even when its like 60 outside, i can often loose all the blood and feeling in my hands/feet, it really sucks

Also with all my cycling, i have to keep my bikes clean and here is where I get frustrated the most.  Not being able to wash my bikes even in the mild temps.  So purchased some gloves and yesterday I was able to get 2 of my bikes cleaned without any issues.   Game change.  Wanted to share these incase anyone has this issue

Got this off amazon for like 12 bucks and tested them yesterday, worked pretty darn good!  I know i have a lot to catch up on here.  Hope yall have been good.

I actually use pretty much the exact same thing for delivering auto parts in the cold and wet up here. They felt a little weird the first time I put them on, but I got used to them quickly. Highly recommended!

For you mike, prob not a bad idea since they are water proof.  For me, having Raynaud's, its a curse.   I hate it.  And to top it all off, our water pressure was so bad yesterday i tried to wash my truck and didn't have enough water pressure to foam.   So I had to hit the tunnel.....my truck hasn't been washed in 4 months.

It was bad bad bad

Still way cleaner than mine.  I actually hit the touchless two days ago because we have a stretch of no precipitation right now and I wanted to knock some of the mud and salt off.  I was also hauling wood from some trees I cut down so the bed was trashed.  I have yet to wash my truck properly and it’s been almost a year and 20k miles.  I think I only washed my last truck properly twice.  Dirt road life I guess. It’s either dust or mud.  Nothing in between.

Glad you found something that works and helps the hands! Wife has the same thing and is often a damper on the winter activities.

Keep those bikes clean!
