3 Months of no washing.....

So, its 104 outside in the shade here in Texas right now.    Heat index is 110-112 and it not even July yet.  Being 51 years old, I have decided to pick my battles and try to live as long as possible.  Part of that decision is to not be trying to kill myself by riding in the afternoon with this heat.  Normally, that wouldn't bother me but as i have crossed the threshold of 50 i all of a sudden become a tad more cautious for extrenious activity.    Riding in the morming only works for me during the weekend as my work requires my mornings to be dedicated to work given I work for a German Company. 

Here are some photos of my poor F250, which BTW has 103K miles on it now and she is only a 2019 truck.    I am about to put a new serpentine belt on, brakes in the front have been replaced recently, rears are next.    Shocker, I still owe on this truck and i have 14 more months.  This has been the best Ford product, i have ever owned.   

Anywho, I don't I don't post much these days, but I am trying.  Like many of you, there is a lot going on,.  Still dealing with my mothers passing and alll that goes with it.  It started out great, now its complicated with attorneys, and pissied off step family wanting things that don't belong to them etc.   UGH>. Don't wish this on anyone.  But hey, here are some shots of my dirty ass truck and some afters.

This was exterior only.   

Wash: 3 Bucket method...(one bucket for wheels and 2 for wash and rinse
Opti APC on wheels and tires/wells
PB Bug Squash on front and wind screen
Opti Soap for wash
Mets Hyper Dressing on tires, wells, trim
Stoners on chrome front and wheels
Stoners on Running boards (chrome sections)

Stoners on glass, interior and exterior

Will load pics from phone and app.

The truck looks awesome! Sorry your life is so complicated right now. You'll get through it though.

As for being 50 and thinking you have to slow down, don't sell yourself short. I'm 67 and still doing things I'm told I shouldn't be doing!  :om:

Thanks Tom, as for slowing down, no i am not doing that, but not going out and riding as hard as I can when its over 100 outside.
