Brother stopped by

My oldest Brother came by on his cross-country trip haven’t seen him in over 8 years, so it was great for him to meet the kiddos in person.

He is going from his home in Gatineau, Quebec up to Anchorage and back. If he is ahead of schedule, he is thinking about making the trip to Tuktoyiktuk before getting to Alaska.

We did a check over and cleaned some bugs off and he was ready to go after a nice steak supper and full breakfast the next morning.

Wow.  That’s awesome.  That’s a long time to not see a sibling especially with your willingness to travel long distances.  What’s the story and significance behind his trip?  And what’s at that extra stop if he has time?

It’s been a long time, but we have had to miss a visit here or there over the years due to timing and other obligations.

Every 5 years or so he likes to do a big trip on the bike. Last one was down to Tennessee and back. About 10’years ago he made the trip around to see all the siblings NW Ontario to Iowa to Vancouver to Fort St John and then back home

The extra stop would take him to the most northern town in Canada and to the shore of the Arctic Ocean.

It’s an epic trip for sure, he has planned on it taking 5 weeks.
