Yeah, that's the headlight switch. It's actually not too bad to pull apart, but the parts are tiny. Apparently it's common on all Can Am's to get hot and the contact sticks.

He was missing one of the bulbs, so that one was very dirty, lol.

I can't wait to get out on this thing!

Fresh powder coating turned out really well.

It’s all done! Now time for bed, lol.

Just have to order up the passenger seat.

It needs a good cleaning, but didn’t have a great way to do it in this cold weather, so that will have to wait.

Some small fasteners need to be swapped out so everything matches and I need to get the new panel decals on, but good enough to go for a test drive.

I actually didn’t even notice it was digital camo before.  I’d probably leave the decals off.  I like it.

I'm not sure what it is, but something about no decal's scream "Stolen" to me. I am going to just start with the "X" decals and then go from there. I didn't bother ordering the "CAN-AM" or "OUTLANDER" decals for the fender flares.

Sneak peak of the next project. Doesn’t have any spark so doesn’t run yet.

It’s just a little 50cc two stroke, so should be perfect for the kids to learn on and zip around the farm at my uncles.

Man, I gotta tell ya it’s been a crazy few weeks. I’ve been trying to get the quad done along with a bunch of small stuff around the house. Family starts showing up tomorrow night and we are very excited about it. But, I’m not 25 anymore and can feel it, lol.

I have another “surprise” for the family that I pick up tomorrow. I’ll post a pic when I get it.

I talked to my buddy about the little bike, he is 99% certain that it’s the stator. They are known to fail apparently. He shot me a link for a known good aftermarket one and it was only $35! So if it works out, I’ll be all in on it for $435, so less than I paid for the floor boards on the Can Am.

We also took the family to the Can Am dealer and picked up good helmets for everyone (except me, I already have a decent one…or three).
