Ceramic Coated Outboard
« on: June 01, 2021, 06:42:45 PM »
I finally got enough time - and some decent weather - to ceramic coat the new Warp Drive on my boat. I used CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0 after the prep. I think it came out pretty evil looking.

I don't have a current shot of the whole rig, but here's what it looked like when I got it home from getting the new motor installed last December:

Look at Herbie in the window.  He is not happy that dads attention is elsewhere.

That looks great though!

The GPS speedometer has a "recall" function so you can call up the last fastest speed. This pic was shot last December when we tested it with the new motor for the first time. The (29 year old) girl still has some snort left in her.

Looks like you need a new Speedo that goes higher.

Possibly, but the current driver has no interest in going faster.  :om:

This of course is subject to change ...
