Those wheels and tires are a perfect fit in there.  It has a really nice stance and the gap between fenders and tire is really consistent.  I like that a lot.

It’s boarding on looking like a “wagon”, but I think it’s on point.

I didn’t think the black wheels would grow this much on me, but I’m liking them. I still think they would be better as a gloss black.

I want to disagree with you on the wagon look but I actually like a lot of the sportier wagons.  Coincidentally, Cassie has an outback which is a wagon and we went the other direction with that and stuffed some smaller wheels with fat tires in there and I really like it.  So what the hell do I know.

I find it kinda interesting. Both Heather and I have received several random compliments on the ST while out and about.

I’ve hit a few “g-out” dips and the suspension handles them pretty darn well. Springs are probably all settled now, lol.

I've always like the station wagon look. Just look at some of the hot "shooting brake" models from across the pond.

Soft spot for the Audi.

Right around 2000miles of driving and we are at our furthest point away from home for a week or so. This car is absolutely awesome for doing a road trip. Very comfortable and some of the tech like adaptive cruise control are so nice to have.

Stopped at a buddies place along the way and I found someone that wanted to get rid of their roof rails, so we pulled the car apart (have to drop the headliner) and got them swapped.

Seriously, who does this.  Hahaha.  This is probably the final straw for me ever being surprised by anything you do.

I do really like that ride though.  And you’re right, adaptive cruise control, although on paper sounds unimpressive and boring, I’ve found to be awesome on Cassie’s car on trips.

Gotta seize the opportunity when you can . It was a Ford tech that wanted to remove his rails, but would cost $800+ in parts to do it. I wanted to add roof rails, but the kit is over a grand and on back order. I figured for a few beer and a couple hours worth of time, it’s a good deal

That looks really slick with the new rack on it.

I think it looks like more of a station wagon with them, but they are needed so they went on. Being able to run a box on the roof will give us some much needed space on future trips.

Black rails, does that mean murder out the rest of the corners?

I thought about wrapping the roof and some of the C-Pillar to give it a little contrast. Not sure though as I’ve now heard a few people that removed partially wrapped vehicles and now the paint looks different where the wrap was because of fading where the paint wasn’t wrapped.
