Well, we were approved and have an appointment to pick it up the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  Now hopefully the hitch gets here soon.  Hopefully before this weekend.

Congrats.  Now,, as mom & dad found out, the modifications begin..
- Yes even dad had to modify things.. last was a large solar panel install.
The one we are getting actually has a juice pack so it has a solar panel on the roof and a battery.  But yeah, we are looking at everything now.  More ways to spend money like I haven’t spent enough lately.

Thanks guys.  We are pretty excited about it.  It’s kind of an entry level unit but it’s exactly what we were after.

So funny story.  The week before we looked at this one we went and looked at others.  We looked at a smaller version of this one.  Extremely similar, just a smaller garage.  We did a build sheet on this model and they gave us a price $10,000 higher than the one we ended up getting and it would have had to be ordered.  Minimum of 10 weeks for delivery.  So the funny part, while standing inside the unit talking with the sales man, we hear an awful sound.  The salesman says “uh oh. Well that’s not the first time that’s happened.”  A couple was leaving with their brand new trailer and swiped the pole.  Technically the camper wasn’t even 100% out of the lot.  Hooked the awning and bent it to hell.

Oh, and the hitch came today.  Now I just have to trim some trees so I can make it down the road.  So hopefully the neighbors don’t mind since they’re on their property.

Nice rig dude congrats!  I give you 4 pulls tops before you swap out that king pin box to a Mooryrd!!  Do you know what the pin weight is on that rig.  Guessing 2650lbs

Mom  & Dad had the factory one, and they upgraded it to the larger solar panel build.

Sure.  I was going to hold out until I got it hooked up and home but I did grab some when we were looking at it.  Gave me a reason to play with the ultra wide lense on the iPhone.  Not sure where the picture of the bedroom got to.  It’s my only real complaint as I could use a little more headroom at 6’e” tall.

Thanks guys.

In the picture of the garage there is a door to the left.  That’s the second bathroom.  The walls open and fold flat against the wall for more room and I guess in case you like to awkwardly shit in the corner of a room.  It’d be very airy with the garage door folded down in to the party deck.  The garage was a main selling point.  Some of the more expensive ones had a smaller garage that would work because the second bathroom didn’t cut in to the garage floor space but we weren’t looking to spend 80k either.  This garage is 15’10”.

Getting ready for next week.  Had to trim the trees up along the road.  When it rains they would hang low enough that I would have to drive around and a little in to the neighbors lawn with my old truck.  I have them trimmed up to about 15 feet now.  Also got the 5th wheel hitch installed.  Pricey bastard they are...  I still have to take it back off to grease the bushings on the pivot arms.

Finally brought her home.

It was a pretty uneventful pull home until I almost ran over the street sign for our street.  I didnt for what it’s worth.

Man, that is one sweet looking rig! And the doggies appear to like it too. Too bad it's time to put it away for the winter.
