I’m curious to see how they are going to do PPF on the hood with the “EXPLORER” badge across the front

Did you ask ?

I am worried that they might cut around the lettering all together or worse.. :wow:
I haven’t yet, we go on Friday to take a look and I know the film guy. I’m assuming they would cut around, but hope they don’t. Honestly, I’m fine with removing the badging all together

That would be cool if the front badges can be removed all together.
- I cannot tell, reading it seems the hood does not have locating holes..

Trucks faster right now. Probably just a tune would put the ST in front. It’s 2000lbs lighter.

Prove it!

I’m not just saying that because I want to see a video.

Alright, maybe I am.

Black lug nuts, Custom Black emblems and “ST” wheel center caps ordered.

I made a deal with the PPF guy, I’ll remove the explorer badge on the hood, prep and coat the paint and he’ll put PPF on the entire hood and fenders for the price of just the leading edge.

I was hoping to see you go another direction and get away from some of the black.  I do realize I’m in the minority when it comes to black but I just don’t care for black wheels and blacking things out.  I’ve been pleasantly surprised before though.  And I guess if you’re staying with black wheels then black lug nuts are a must.

Although I get what you’re saying, It would be a pretty large effort to take it another way. One of the reasons we sent with this model was the lack of chrome.

The chrome Ford badges just don’t make any sense in my opinion. It’s just Ford being stubborn about branding. I thought about blue and black for the badges, however I did that with my truck and it’s weird enough having two blue vehicles, lol.

The lug nuts are the same thing IMO, just doesn’t make sense as to why they are chrome. It also bugs me that they went to the effort of having black housing head lights, but the fog lights are chrome housings.  I’m looking into options to swap the fogs.

Looks like there is a lot that can be changed with ForScan, so I’m seeing what I can do there.

Are the fog lights the rectangular, horizontal lights you see in the picture?  I thought those might be turn signals.  Is the whole housing chrome or just the reflector?
