Help with new wheels
« on: June 07, 2019, 12:36:58 PM »
FINALLY replaced my pitted and peeling chrome wheels with some Fuel painted black with dark machine tint wheels.  As with the chrome wheels though, soap and water does not quite get the brake dust and grime off the front wheels.

Was thinking about using Meg's All Wheel Cleaner on them but am scared to death.  Thoughts?

ANY help is MUCH appreciated.

That is very mild stuff. Make sure the wheels are cold and out of the sun when you go to apply.

I use Poorboys Spray & Rinse on my wheels.  Works great, just follow the directions

Thanks guys.  I do think it's time to load up on some Poorboys.  Have multiple needs.  Picked up some Meg's aluminum wheel cleaner to get me by until then (says safe for all wheels/gentle).  Couldn't find the All Wheel Cleaner to save my life.

Thanks again for the help.

Another vote for PB Spray and Rinse.

A little side note about PB since it's being brought up.  Ever since moving the entire operation down to Florida from NY, Steve has been a man on a mission.  He was becoming complacent there for a while (still had good products I should not) and now he's really in to the company again and trying to expand the line.  Seems there's always something else in the works now.  I think the latest product I saw was Strip Down.
