Messed around in the garage tonight. New TPMS installed and tires spooned on the wheels. I’ll air them up tomorrow and get the tires nice and clean. Then to the shop for a balance.

Really happy with how these came out. They’ll look good when the truck and tires are actually clean. I had a great Birthday with Family and then doing some riding.

I say it every time you post pictures like this but man it’s so nice there!

Glad you had a good birthday, buddy! Truck looks great!

Ollie had a hike with his Scouts group yesterday, so I tagged along.

The “cave” is a Canadian Military bunker that was built WWII era apparently. It was used to hide “government resources”, including nuclear weapons. Kinda cool to check out.

Exhaust manifolds are warped, so going to order up a new set and swap them out. Not exactly a fun job, but not crazy difficult. It will be good to get full boost back and not have a truck sound like a giant angry cricket is under the hood, lol.

Haha I love the description of how it sounds.  Exhaust ticks are super annoying.

Everything showed up today, now I just have to find some time to tear it apart.

Is say that one cylinder had a bit of an issue.  I swapped manifolds for long tube headers back on my 02 Expedition years ago.  It was awful.

It all back together and running awesome. The turbos spool quicker and low end grunt is improved.

Awesome job on what looks like a real PITA. Do you think it was a warped flange or a bad gasket?

Manifolds we’re definitely warped. I think once they get cherry red while towing, the wait of the turbos eventually pull them away from the heads.  Probably why Ford did Stainless Steel with their latest version.
