The money from the wheels/tires are planned to go towards other mods, so no real plans for another set at this time.

I do already know exactly what I want though for a second set of wheels/tires, lol.

You only have two sets of wheels and tires? Weenie. I have 3 sets for each vehicle. (Yes, it's that bad.)  The back of my basement looks like a tire store. Do you think I need help?  :dope:

That's how my garage looks.  I have a spare set of wheels and tires for Cassie's car, her four wheeler, my four wheeler and my side by side.  And actually a two extra tires on top of that for side by side.

l had to order up the switch circuit boards and adapter harnesses from Eco Power Parts so the buttonswould work and I can use the paddle shifters.

Ford parts I had to get

Steering wheel M-3600-F15RRD

Clock Spring - HL3Z-14A664-A

RH switch pack - FL3Z-9C888-EA

LH Switch pack - FL3Z-9C888-BA

2015+ F150 Air Bag - FL3Z-15043B13-AB

Honestly, it doesn’t matter which steering wheel you get, heated or not. You just can use the heat if you get a wheel with it. If you get a non-heated wheel with adaptive (not sure if it’s possible), you don’t need the switch packs from Ford.

So this is a very easy kit to install, but the cost of all the stuff can add up quick. I hunted around for a used wheel and airbag. The wheel I got, only needed one switch pack swapped.

I only had one small issue with Mike’s kit, the paddle shifter connections in the wheel harness were routed to the wrong side. All I had to do was remove the tape from the harness and swap them and re-tape. No big deal, just took me a minute to figure out what was going on.

Very happy with how it all works and the paddle shifts are actually quicker than I thought. I may try to speed the shifts up in manual mode in the tune, but need to test more.

The wheel itself is a upgrade over the previous Gen Raptor, softer and larger more comfortable grip.

I like it.  So whenever j see wires, I just think, man, this looks overly complicated and time consuming.  How long did this swap take?  It amazes me the things you find to do to this truck.  Haha

This was a pretty easy one. Total of 1 hour and that was with beer breaks.

I’ve been hacking away at the back deck. My Wife got a nice contract and wanted to get this done as originally we were going to hold off due to COVID.

Nothing major, pulled the hot tub, decking around it and busted up the pad it was on. Pulled the crap vinyl covering that was on top and the deck surface. A bunch of things needed to be adjusted with the Joyce’s and replaced a couple because they scabbed a couple together.

Now just to extend one half of it another two feet and throw new composite deck boards on top.

Stage two is to dig out the gravel that the hot tub concrete tab was on and put down some brick and use it as a little fire pit area.

So, how do your shoulders feel after busting up the concrete?  :om:

Looks great BTW!

He used that Canadian mountain man strength.  Probably used a sledge hammer and just staged the jack hammer there to make us mere mortals not feel bad about ourselves.  Haha

Looking good.

Hahahaha.

I actually broke up the first 1/6 with a sledge, then started to get really wore out. I was a bit optimistic being the outer edge of concrete was only about 3” think. It quickly doubled that as I got more towards the centre. I broke down, went to rent a jack hammer after my arms were noodles. Smartest move I made as it was over 4000lbs of concrete to haul out by hand in a small wheel barrow after it was busted up.

Anybody want to bet that he simply tossed all of that busted up concrete into the back of his truck to haul it away? Hell, it's got plenty of power.

I'd put it in the back of the X5.
