Looks close without the light but definitely doesn't match enough for my liking.

Agreed. Close, but no cigar.

Traction bars on. I’m going to have to mess with the preload, the rear end is too stiff right now.

Anyway, I grabbed the Dragy and found a back road to do a quick test on. The road was dirty, so traction wasn’t great, even in 4wd. The bars certainly work though, no more wheel hop.

13.74 seems low.  In all fairness, I had to Google stock times becaue I have no idea what they run but it seemed 15 seconds was common.  Someone even said 13.20 with a tune but that seems a bit much of a jump.

It’s actually not bad at all. I’m at altitude, running 34’s, way heavier than most trucks and running a soft tune (no ethanol since the truck sits). The road was also pretty rough and I know that wasn’t helping.

I would guess that if I took some of my recovery gear out of the truck and ran the ethanol tune, I could be in the low 13’s.

I did not factor anything else in to your time. Especially the tires.  That indeed changes things.

Nobody has bought my 32’s yet, so I may do a comparative pull with them to see the difference.

I would be interested in that.  How is your tune?  Without going back in the thread and looking, weren't you having a minor issue with the tune?  Or there was something that wasn't quite up to the task of what the time was asking for?

The tune is 99% and I don't plan on really changing anything with it at this point. Only thing that I would have liked to see was a tad more boost in the 2500-4000rpm range. But honestly, the truck drives really good and I gotta know when to call it. We pretty much have the turbo's at their limit on the top end, but they could maintain a bit more psi in the mid-range.

I'm tempted to go and grab some ethanol, empty out the truck and do a run on the 32's to get a idea on what it could actually do. We'll see how the weather goes this weekend after I plan to go off-roading on Friday.

Went out for a trail ride with a buddy today. We had a great time “social distancing”. Some of the hillls were seriously sketchy and it probably would have been smart to chain up, but we didn’t.

That last pic is going to require some explaining.   :dope:

I was pulling off the trail so another truck could get by and got sucked in. I didn’t make it very far in the crusty snow.

It just took a quick pull with a kinetic rope to get me out. He was happy that I finally got stuck, lol.

Nitros and 20”’OEM wheels are sold. Just going to stash the cash for right now.

Likely will do the Gen2 Raptor wheel next. But, I have been keeping my eye on any possible sales with BDS on a lift kit.

We’ll see, not in a rush to do anything at the moment. I need to spend some quality time with the paint and doing some spring cleaning.

Wait, so you already have plans for ANOTHER set of wheels in the future?  Haha.  I think you have a problem.  We are going to have to get everyone together after all of this nonsense passes and have an intervention.

The money from the wheels/tires are planned to go towards other mods, so no real plans for another set at this time.

I do already know exactly what I want though for a second set of wheels/tires, lol.
