I don't know.  I wouldn't.  That tree is 2-0 right now.

I wrapped up some meetings early this afternoon, so I tackled the panels for the bed and the rear seat access latches. I will have to “modify” the one panel so I can get access to my power point. The panels aren’t as big as I had hoped, so I might not get everything mounted on them I wanted.

They look good.  They don't look like they could have been much bigger.  Maybe a little in to the wheel well area.

Yeah, basically I was hoping that the rear ones extended further over top of the wheel wells. Not a huge deal as I think I can still mount a bunch of stuff on them.

Cargo rack system showed up today. I took the day off tomorrow, so I'll try to get it installed and mess around with mounting some stuff on the panels in the bed. I haven't made the decision yet, But thinking about mounting the hi-lift jack directly to the box across the front. We'll see, I'm not a fan of drilling holes that I can easily un-do or hide.

I'll post a couple of pics via tapatalk. Rack isn't mounted yet, but I was able to mark all the holes, line up all the hardware and mock up the fitment to make sure it will all go together as hoped. I had some "911" calls to deal with at work and spend 7 hours of my day today on a conference call. I need a Crown and Coke ASAP.

7 hours on the phone is 420 minutes too long.  I hate being on the phone.  I'll drive 45 minutes to have a 2 minute conversation in person.  Haha

It was insane and worst part is that it wasn’t really our problem, but wanted to help the client out.

I’m very impressed with how solid the cross bars seem, I don’t think I’ll need to add a third to hold up the RTT.

Still decent lighting, even with the panels.

Looks like it takes some work to close that tonneau up.  Looks like you could use an extra inch or so of height out of those cross bars but I'm sure it's manageable.

What does this roof top tent look like that you have in mind.  Maybe I missed it.  Just curious how it works.

That is the bad thing. I bought the low profile towers as I didn’t think about rolling the cover up with the tent or cross bar installed. I’ll see if it really becomes a issue, if it does I can buy the higher tower mounts.

I’m planning on a RTT like this one.
https://cascadiatents.com/shop/mt-rainier-standard-summit-series/

I was able to wrap up the install today. It was a royal pain to get the plastic bed rail caps off! I also had to remove the Tonnaeu, which is pretty easy.

Drilled, painted (to help prevent rust) and then installed the nut rivets. Then it was just popping the covers back on and bolting the tracks down.

Currently running without the cross bars.

Also had lots of help today

I also was able to get the Starky “Raptor” front lights in. Great kit that’s very well made. I did end up cutting back the ground wire to route it better. Looks great and it may not look like it in the pic, but the colour is bang on.

That tent is a nice setup but wow, almost $3k.  Can you put a sheet of plywood or something similar on the rack and see if you can close the tonneau?  If it even clears the rails on the first place.  If the tent is mounted, will it even be possible to access much if the tonneau is open?

By the way, the little man is getting to be not so little.
