That looks really sharp man.   That paint looks sick in that light

BTW, do you need to update your signature?   LOL

Good Catch, Sig updated.

FX4 decals came in the mail today. I threw them on as soon as I got home. I think it looks much better than the stock decal.

Oh and here are pics of my ding on the front bumper. zero paint damage, thank God!

Before

After a quick clean-up. I will buy another whole bumper film, but I wanted to keep as much protection as possible until it's installed. So I left this one on.

LED's installed inside. (sorry for such a crappy pic)

Wait a minute.   What is this damage you speak of.   What the hell happened.   What did I miss?

It's a tight squeeze to back into the garage, I mean really tight. So I was a wee bit tired and just caught the bumper on the door guide rail. It rubbed the 3M film, but no actual paint damage.

Damn you're lucky. If it were me, carnage would have occurred.

I figured I would bring this back up instead of starting a new thread.

The truck received a few minor updates last weekend.
 - Blackvue 2ch DR650 Dash cam
 - Recon smoked LED 3rd brake light
 - OEM Raptor wheels and Toyo GSi-3 Winter tires 285/70/17

I have the recon tail lights for it too, but they are used and need to be re-wired and new resistors put in (I got them really cheap).

How she sits now

The photo is a bit of an illusion, the new tires are only about an inch taller than the stockers

I've just ordered an overhead switch panel that I found in this thread. I have been searching and searching for a nice way to add switches.

http://www.f150forum.com/f59/custom-overhead-switch-panels-317038/

The plan for the switches is to power a 42" light bar that will be behind the grill, power some reverse lights and bed lights. I will leave me a switch for something in the future (ordered a 4 switch plate).

After that, nothing really planned, I need to trim my truck budget a bit to get Wifey a new set of wheels. She wants a new Edge Sport or Grand Cherokee with the diesel.

Looks good. I like the wheels. I love the color.

Will a 42" light bar really fit behind the grill? I had a 30" in my last F-150 and it didn't look like anything much bigger would fit behind the grill.

I have a 20" in my Silverado grille and there is plenty of room for a bigger light in the grille itself.  Obstructions behind the grille are another story but I bet I could fit it.

here is where I stole the idea from. I have the 42", but may go with the 32" idea (second link) as there is one locally for cheap and sell the 42".

I didn't buy the light bar from these guys, I found it on Craigslist new in a box. It's a made in china special, but actually seemed decent and I hooked it up to a battery to see how much light it put out before buying.

Well there ya go.  It'll fit.  I don't know how much I like the placement behind the logo like that.  What are the specs on those LEDs? I'm going to guess 3 watts each?

I hacked my grille apart with a dremel.  Haha.  It sticks out a bit but I'm pretty happy with it.  I had a picture in my phone, but that was two phones ago.  Haha.  I'll have to take another tomorrow.

Cool, post a pic of what you did, I'm curios.

You can raise or lower the bar on the supports, you just have to drill your own hole instead of using existing. With my grill (which I don't like, but won't have $$$ to replace anytime soon), I can place the light bar so that it won't be blocked by the logo or much of the grill at all.

I'm just in no rush to install as I am rarely out of the city these days and won't use it much.

I also bought a auto lock mech for the tailgate. I had to have one after I saw Doug's. I'm waiting for my primary wire to show up and I'll run the bed light wires and auto lock wires at the same time.
