I can’t begin to fathom how many hours you have in to this truck.  Where do you find the time.  I feel like I need an extra four hours in the day so as it is.  Two more hours to get things done e and two to get more sleep.

I think two things help me out with being able to find time. One is working from home. I have no commute and the kids are usually out of the house by 7am. This and my lunch time give me a couple hours. It’s also fairly easy for me to get away from my desk a couple times a day and use the time to clean up the garage or tackle a 10 minute job or maybe some organizing.

The other is that I will often work late into the night. I can get a lot accomplished from 8:30 to midnight or 1 am.

I guess a third would be having an awesome wife. I let her know what the plan is and always do the best I can to prioritize family as needed. Like last week Ollie wanted to go for a couple evening bike rides. I just set the truck stuff aside and we would go riding for a couple hours.

Today I got the grill painted, running board brackets painted and the front end back together.

Unfortunately, when I went to open the garage door, the spring snapped and the door wouldn’t open. Took me a minute to figure out it was the spring and now have to manually open until I find some time to get parts and fix it.

Lookin mint!

I had my garage door spring break on me last year.  It was my oversized door so it was commercial rated and no one would sell me a spring because of liability issues.  I think it was $400 to have it replaced.

Kids were up late, so didn’t get to the interior tonight. Running boards assembled and re-installed, wheels removed and wheel wells cleaned. I’ll likely rattle can a few spots in the morning to clean it up a bit. Checked the psi in the shocks and surprisingly, they were all within 10% of 200psi after a couple years. Center caps re-installed on wheels after they were scrubbed.

Tomorrow is going to be a busy day. Gotta do the full interior, under hood and bed details. Exterior wash will be last. Gotta clean the shod plates and re-install too, but that shouldn’t take long.

Jack stands match the truck nicely.  But that little rolling seat needs some love.  Haha

Ha, that seat is just custom thanks to my little girl and a roll of tape.

Set up at the show

Hard to believe it’s 10 years old.  Looks great!

What’s under the front end?  Looks like a garbage bag.

Yeah, it was a garbage bag. Everyone had to have one or something under the engine, didn’t matter if you leak or not.

It did pretty good. I was up for best in class and lost to this beautiful ‘76 body off restoration.

That truck is in a way different lane.  Beautiful though.  I love that truck.  I couldn’t be upset losing to that.

I was happy to be runner up, kinda cool IMO. It was definitely a show of awards going to "who you know". The ST was rejected and couldn't even enter, but best in class ford car was a Focus ST with a hyrodipped engine cover and a body kit, lol. It wasn't even lowered or had any performance work done.

Got a few items up for sale from the truck already. Starting the long road to getting most of the upgrades off the truck. Only so much I can do until I decide if I'm going to swap a stock motor back in it or not.

Maybe I asked this but I’m too lazy to go back and look.  Do you sell the motor separately if you swap them or do you keep it for a future project?  I imagine the money would go a long way towards a down payment on something new.  But my vote is build something like an Ariel Atom out of it.  Like a super sized gixxer cart.

I would actually like to keep it for future project. It would be amazing to find a 2014 RCSB Tremor and make it into a quick street truck.
