Nah, they won’t do it. However after looking into it, it’s not that hard to swap in the Raptor suspension.

Nah, Ford won't do it, but we all know somebody who would.  :funny:
I’m not going to lie, it was a legitimate option to build an overland capable rig.

Airbag cradles installed and started to take things apart for the turbo and manifold swap.

Ya, but the bottom of the airbag was attached to the bottom bracket. The airbags would limit down travel and stretch when I flexed the suspension a little bit. With these cradles, the bags can just pull away from the bottom bracket and not restrict any movement.

Following along patiently.

Do you have another vehicle other than the wife’s?  Like a beater incase you run in to issues and can’t get the truck back together right away?

Just have the two vehicles. Both of us work from home, so not a huge deal if we just have one vehicle for a few days.

If it’s something longer term, I can always grab a used vehicle off my cousins lot or borrow my uncles truck which he rarely uses.

I would love to have a third vehicle one day, but I don’t think it’s going to be in the near future.

Can you just swap the parts and run the truck or will it cause issues without a new tune?  And do you have the new tune already?  I feel like I asked this before and you said one was getting set up for you.

I can run my tow tune and there shouldn't be any issues. It's basically a stock power level tune with some of the needed changes for the fuel pump drivers, etc. The tuner also sent me a "base file" for this set up. It's a performance tune meant for 91 octane since that is what is in the tank. It's very close to my current 91 tune, just with some additional timing and power pulled so we are on the safe side.

Once we feel comfortable with the 91 tune, we'll step up to 94 and see what can be added for timing and boost.

It's all theory at this point until I can get some data. Hopefully later today I'll get in some testing before the snow flies.

What’s snow?  It’s been in the 40s and 50s all winter.  It was in the 60s a couple days last week.

I don’t think I would ever be able to bring myself to run anything but the 94 time.  Unless towing.

It’s all back together and the shakedown run went pretty well. I have one AN line leaking a little coolant, so I’ll have to address that tonight. Good otherwise, just need to get a log into the tuner.

Coolant leak fixed and all back together.

I’m going to drop the trans pan and do fluid and a filter. I haven’t inspected it since I built it, so it’s due.

Is that a built tranny or is it stock?
