You really wedged that snard in there.   No snow yet here.  A bit north of us got a foot but the cut off was extreme.  All or nothing kind of event.  I’m not complaining.

Your snard is cleaner than my entire truck.

Your roads must be glass smooth to allow that beautiful snard to grow and live. Just one of our wonderful potholes would probably devastate that thing!

We got our first measurable snow yesterday - but it was only about an inch. Might get some lake effect snow today though.

Seems like all around you got hammered.  Erie and Buffalo got walloped.  I think Erie got like 4 feet.

Correct. Lake effect snow is very finicky and generally comes in narrow bands. West of us, Buffalo got hit because they're at the east end of Lake Erie. East of us, Watertown got hit because they're at the east end of Lake Ontario. Had the wind shifted more out of the north, we would have gotten hit.

The roads are actually pretty decent around here, but I credit most of its creation to
Optimal snow conditions on our street. They don’t plow it and the temps were just perfect, lol.

Oh how I long for a nice big dump of snow to go play in. Maybe we will get something this winter.
