I don't have a problem with HD if it has enough time to dry.  I do a fine wipe down though because I'm not a fan of high shine.  At least not on large sidewalls.  I like more of a nice sheen.  I think some of it is the sidewall design of those tires.

top mark is 4:1  and I use 90% of one bottler on this jeep per wash

JP

I can see that. I had forgotten how much HD I used on my old trucks while I had the Mustang. Basically spray the frame down with it after a wash. At 4:1 the gloss goes down after a couple days driving.

I'm a little embarrassed, but I have never tried HD. I guess maybe this is my summer :hp:

Honestly, I pretty much only use it for wheel wells anymore.

Join the club

I use PB Natural Look on tires, that is the look I prefer.

wheel wells = OPT Opti Seal or if they can be cleaned enough OptiCoat 2.0

Natural look on tires?  That's different.  I don't often use natural look anymore ONLY because I like the look and scent of Leather Stuff better.  I wonder how that would work on tires.  Maybe I will try it on one side of the truck.

Several of "the powers that be" are still recovering from judging the annual Winter Snard Contest.

This may still work in your favor though. By the time we all recover (sober up), we may simply decline to rule on your case.  :judge:

I often wipe down the tires too if I am about to drive...but I do try to allow it to dry as much as possible.

I let it dry as long as possible.  Even overnight if I'm not going anywhere.  Then I wipe it down before i drive anywhere.

What size are those tires? What are the wheels?

I'd start by figuring out what all that would sell for retail and see if the savings are worth buying used.

Tires are 35's by 17.   I really like the wheels, I am considering swaping mine for these wheels but keeping my tires...selling the tires and my wheels on the cheap.

The bumpers however I think are a good deal on the net.

I can put 2 sets of 2x2's in the front grill!!  LOL

That really is a decent deal, I can't see being able to just do the tires and wheels for any less than 2 G's. The bumpers looks pretty stout too.

I would see if he is flexible, if he's willing to drop $300, I can't see you going wrong.
