Ask JP. He's trying to stuff some back in right now.

Ask JP. He's trying to stuff some back in right now.

Simple fix, I put a 5amp fuse back in there.

Thanks for visiting the Cafe, come back often.  There's always something new!

That would not do the trick, it would pop and be the end of it.

With the 30A, the weakest link is not the fuse itself, but the remainder of the infrastructure.
- basically one large fusible link  :wow:

"Everything electrical runs on smoke. If you let the smoke out, it doesn't work anymore."

And now JP understands everything electrical - just like Brad. (They both let the smoke out of something.)  :redneck:

And how do you put it back in ?  :Me:

Feel the power of the force young Luke.  :nija:

RR: "OK, a priest a rabbit and a moose walk into a bar"

SS" "JP It is a priest Rabi and a minister... :dope:  Good grief if you are going to tell it tell it right"

Much easier.

Lisle tool has a Schrader valve to AWG adapter set.
- Either you need to buy the complete set or just the sizes you need. :redneck:

:dunno: maybe it is me.  I just got back in from shoveling....

What if I only use Presta valves?   Looks like I am screwed.

There are Presta to Schrader adapters

Thing is you have to try to overfill it a bit, as you can lose some when taking the adapter off

You could always blow it back in manually. Wait a minute, Bill Clinton did that, but he didn't inhale - so it didn't work. Fortunately, later in life, Monica inhaled ...

Unfortunately, Fetzer Valves are no longer available. The family (Wilbert and Martha Fetzer owned it for over 40 years) was recently bought out (via hostile takeover) by the massive international conglomerate - Uranus Corp. Uranus has been stymied for years by Fetzer patents and finally found a way to get around the problem. Having gained the patents, they killed the entire product line and replaced it with low cost knock-offs made in Elbonia. Beware these cheap, flimsy vales as they are noted for letting smoke out without provocation. As you might guess, this will leave you stranded by the roadside with no electricity whatsoever.

Sorry can't help you there.

If you said Kneutson valve, I know where to get those.

BTW If you are trying for longest thread filibuster on electrical, Brad's record is 118 posts
