PP2 has abrasives and is more aggressive than PP.

Thanks Harold, I have both and didn't take the time to read the labels... LOL

Would you say that PP2 is a step below SSR1 then?

PP2 is the chemical polish of PP with the physical component included.

The physical component gives it some additional aggressiveness to it.
- If you think in terms of break down of the SSR line, I would say once to reach break down it is about PP ( and time to remove it ).

I can't really say if it is more SSr2 or SSR 2.5 like in nature, there is still the chemical component to it that the SSR line does not have, and the pad change to increase / decrease.
- PP gets me pretty wide.  I go up to an orange pad ( against recommendations ) and down to blue for final.

I use orange pad and PP2 on the RV when I am a step down from Master cut but still need more than PP ( on gel coat watching for staining due to product color and heat )

I use PP on a lot of things..oftne times I use it prior to claying on very neglected surfaces

I bough the PP2 b/c I had money in my pocket.

I can see how using it with a polish pad would be helpful.
