I was just giving ya crap.  There are people who completely eliminate one or both buckets.  Some people keep one as a rinse bucket for the wash mitt which would be a minimum for me.  Some people ditch both buckets and rinse the mitt with the hose.  I prefer to be more cautious but whatever works for you and induces less marring.
