Nano Skin Help
« on: August 09, 2013, 06:33:26 PM »
I haven't used yet, been sitting here for 6+ months just read the instructions and said not to use on paint over 100 degrees?   Um its summer....is this really a restriction?

Thanks for visiting the Cafe, come back often.  There's always something new!

I would say yes that is correct.

For those of us that do not live in hell, this is not an issue, even during the summer  :redneck:

I have not had surface temps that high, but supposition ( from cooler temps to high 80s)  would tell me that the rubber like surface would start to get a bit sticky when trying to wipe the surface.

Just had a storm roll through, so the temps dropped to 76...truck isn't hear yet, but figured after a bath and some cool down I will be ok.

I just shoot the surface with a laser  thermometer and as long as it is 90 or less I have at it.  Haven't had any issues so far.  It saves me a ton of time on vehicles that aren't in really bad shape.
