Nice job on the Welds Mike, looks really nice. Way better than throwing a clamp on there.

Yeah but I was very glad I used a clamp in the middle of the exhaust.  It would have been a nightmare if I couldn't take that last section of exhaust off.  I would ha e had to weld everything on the truck rather than on a table where I could be comfortable and rotate it.  It kind of sucked putting back in though because it was a lot longer and heavier with multiple bends that had to go up over the axle.  That's part of why I used the forklift to lift it high enough.

I like pancakes.  I actually fit under my truck without it jacked up.  I'd get hurt but probably survive it OK.  But the main reason for no jack stands is one they don't go high enough to be supported by the frame  at the height i wanted the truck raised up and I didn't want them under the axle because I wanted the axle at full sag to make sure under above normal driving conditions there would be no rubbing of the exhaust on anything.  I also didn't want them in the way of fishing the exhaust back through.  Its a big set up when welded all together and not the easiest thing to maneuver.  Its once piece from about the front seats to the back and has to go up and over the axle.  Its a pain in the ass especially by yourself.
