Pure Polish then NXT 2.0??

Is it o.k. to use a pure polish (such as DC2) then top it with NXT 2.0?  Or are the mild cleaners in NXT 2.0 going to outweigh the effects of DC2? 

I used that process on the Jeep Patriot that I posted a picture of in the member's rides thing, but I didn't know if I could have achieved the same results with just NXT 2.0?

I have used PBs pure polish then EX-P and had good results
