Is that the Chemical Guys wax?

Long answer - You're almost never going to be able to justify that expensive of a wax unless you have very wealthy customers who are willing to pay the extra to have "the best".  I use the term "the best" extremely loosely and base it soley on cost even though it's not the most expensive or even close to it.  I have a few expensive waxes.  Mostly just because I think LSPs are fun.  However, they offer very little more than what the cheaper waxes offer.  Justin's Wet Obsession is one of my favorite.  Pooyboy's Natty's look fantastic and are probably the best bang for the buck in my opinion.

Short answer - No.  However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I always apply by hand so I have no experience with this myself.  I have heard people use a butter knife.  I've seen the entire clump of wax removed from the jar in a block and spread on that way as well.  I assumed they used heat to loosen it from the sides and bottom.  No idea how they get it past the lip of the container though.
