I've used the edge pads with great results. I've had a bunch.. If you check out autopia you can get an idea of what you'd like to try.

Meg's are supposed to be good too, but i haven't tried them yet.

PFW is a great around pad. I like using it because you can vary the amount of cut by changing your compound/polish. I can finish out with pfw and opt finish or polish 90% of the time.

My next purchase is going to be some kompressors pads though.

Looks like a PFW, some orange and white pads and maybe a blue pad are what I need to order. I also would like to try some of the 4" stuff.....damn, sooo much to buy soooo little money.  :dh:

nice work on the beater   that clear is sooooooo  shot  :wow:

I like good wool pads on the rotary when you know you are working with a problem paint job .. Schlegel are the best for wool, been using them about 30 years ... I found the FWP has some uses but no comparison to a real wool pad ... I would also finish off with the PC and foam ... found out at SEMA, that Mike Philips also works this way ... must be an old timers method  :redneck:
life is short ..do it while you can
