Dear Mr. Chapman,

As the starter of this fine thread and chief judge of all new entrants, it is my duty to inform you that your recent submission has been rejected. After much deliberation (and the consumption of at least 2 domestic beers), I have found your submission to be both original and unique. Unfortunately, I also have reason to believe that all three pictures we somehow altered to enhance the reflective properties of that otherwise awesome car. I can find no credible record of any finish (silver or otherwise) ever looking that damn good. So, nice try, but no dice.

Now that I've got the humor out of the way, man, what a totally, totally awesome job!

That silver is unbelievable, but I have to agree with Attworth.

Hey Nick how were the shots?

Feeling any better?

Shots were great! Went in Monday morning at 6:45, was knocked out by 7:40, and we were back at the house by 9:45. My back was numb from the local anesthesia most of the day Monday, and was pretty loopy most of that day from being knocked out and my regular drugs. But Tuesday and today I feel awesome! At least for the short term the shots seem to be helping, but we'll see about the long term results. I can tell you one thing though, after a little over 10 years of major pain with my back, butt and legs, it feels absolutely AMAZING to not have any pain right now! I can't tell you how much better of a mood I've been in! Absolutely amazing!

Thanks for asking!

I had to think long and hard over this one before posting. (Does 3 seconds count as long and hard?) Once over that significant hurdle, I had to determine a picture from yesterday's detail actually met all of our rigid criteria. So here's my logic:

Cheap: If that ain't trailer trash reflected in the paint, I don't know what it.

Shamless: Hell, I'm posting it right?

Reflecto Shot: Enough said.

Nice try, but go up one post and check out the "truck quarter panel benchmark." Close, but no cigar! Damn I like that color on your truck though!

Sorry, but I just couldn't resist this one when I saw it after my son installed the new TRD stainless steel exhaust on the Scion.

How did I somehow miss this one? This is quite possibly my very best work on any black vehcle. Better yet, this was shot in direct sunlight. I get to see this truck several times a week and it still looks absolutely awesome.
