I feel so cheap - and shameless.

Isn't there some kind of support group I can joint or medicated patch I need to wear?

Here is a new vehicle prep that I did yesterday.  This was just a wash, polish, and seal.

The truck had some light dealer swirls, I used Optimum Hyper Polish Spray with a white polishing pad and then jeweled the paint with a gray finishing pad and the Hyper Polish Spray.  Then I applied Optimum Opti Seal for protection.

Some more pictures I'd like to share with the "shameless crowd" from a recent job.
Hyper Compound - Hyper Polish - OCW - Opti Seal - OID
Hope you enjoy!

Is it possible to be perfect and shameless at the same time?

Found these photos while looking through past photos....what do I win?    :redneck:

There's gotta be an ultra shameless for showing correction and shameless at the same time.

Sorry JP, it is (generally) only possible to be cheap and shameless at the same time. I could (with a few drinks) be talked into believing that one can be cheap, shameless and perfect at the same time though - not that I would know anything about how that might possibly feel.
 :redneck:

As for what you might win, I've got to think about that one. What would be an appropriate prize for being cheap, shameless and perfect? Hmmmm. Oh, I could have some fun with this! Give me a bit of time to ponder.

My very first detail job.  Sorry there was only one decent photo of the car.  I went to my next door neighbor and said "I'm representing the neighborhood and I'd like to talk to you about either a). parking your dirty, nasty 1984 Ford Escort inside your garage or b). let me have it for a couple of days and I'll make all the neighbors jealous."  Of course she almost died laughing while she handed me the keys.  The car had never been waxed and was washed via a drive-through car wash with the spinning brushes that beat the car to death.

I had just received my DA polisher and my first order of detailing supplies.  Spent the next two days working on both the inside and outside until I was satisfied.  When I gave her the keys and she walked outside, she burst into tears!

I went back later and offered to paint her bumpers and all the black trim.  Completed that over the next couple of weekends and the car really turned out nice.   She was so happy!

I learned alot during this process about detailing and how much work it can be.  But in the end it's satisfying to me see a transformation and to make someone else happy.

Unfortunately, the engine blew a month later and it was a sad day when "Cinnamon" was towed away.

Okay, I'll play...

Here is a reflection of one of my garages in the bed side of my truck after polishing with the New Megs MF DA system a few weeks ago.

Yep, that one will do just fine. Looks sweet! Now, if you had booze or bimbos in the background, extra points would have been added. Maybe next time?
