Well, for me it depends on how dirty things are...most of the time what I work on is not too dirty so I prefer to use PB NLD on interior parts.  It has a mild cleaning agent to it.  If really dirty I use something else like Tuff Stuff, then follow with NLD, or HD.

Thanks for visiting the Cafe, come back often.  There's always something new!

Yeah, I use NLD if the interior isn't too bad, but as you've seen my recent customers vehicles have been pretty bad on the inside. Wondering if there was something specific that is interior safe, but will handle badly soiled plastics and trim.

I work for a paving company so you can imagine my door handles and such see some decent filth.  Mostly residue from the oil in blacktop.  Anyhow, I use Adam's Leather and Interior Cleaner mainly because it's what I have but it works really well.  It's also pretty mild.  Then I follow it up with Adam's/Chemical Guys VRT.  I love that stuff.

I like to use any reasonable product that does the following...

Has some light cleaning ability.
Provides some UV protection.
Doesn't leave a "greasy" finish.
Doesn't leave an extremely glossy finish.
Has a light, but pleasant smell..

There are a number of products that meet that criteria. Some have already been mentioned. Currently, I'm using Detailer's Pride Cleaner and/or DP Interior Protectant with nice results.  I also like 303 Protectant.

This another type of product that you have to try a few to find a couple that suit your fancy.

Least aggressive product first = The MOST aggressive process (product/pad/machine speed) that will get the job done by removing the LEAST amount of paint, with the LEAST amount of work, in the LEAST amount of time.
