Should I?
« on: July 04, 2008, 05:20:21 PM »
***First off let me say I am a complete noob at detailing.***

OK, I didn't have a random orbital buffer until recently. It is old, not speed adjustable, but works, I just checked all the functions. It's an old as hell Black and Decker like the one in the link below, for reference.

Being that I've never used one, should I attempt to use this thing on my truck? You know after I purchase all the products I need and do all the necessary prep work, of course. I've read the Basic Detailer's Handbook compiled by the great guys here.

I do have an old dented black door left over from my Probe I could practice on. I'm quite apprehensive since I have a black truck.

Happy 4th of July!   :flag:

you would be wasting your time trying to correct paint with it but you could apply your LSP with it
95 f150 ext. cab
6.5" infinity reference
6x8 pioneer 3 ways
2 12" kicker cvr's in a custom box
800 watt rms monoblock MA audio amp
20% tint
