For the “small” tracks, I was impressed. Stopped on somewhat of a snow drift to take a pic. I made it a few steps and sunk to my waist.

I was able to get it stuck though. I’m pretty happy it was so close to the road. I just grabbed the truck and then hooked up the quad winch. I did have to do some shoveling though. First attempt to winch out, just resulted in dragging the truck towards the quad, lol.

I’m not surprised you got it stuck.  You had that thing buried!

I pulled a couple of the old Yamahas out of the container and we were able to get out for a short ride, maybe 60 miles all in. The snow was so warm and soft that we were sinking in spots, even on the groomed trail. It sure was nice to get out though.

There were major forest fires in the area last summer, it was good to see that the camps survived, mostly thanks to the water bombers keeping them wet. This area of the trail usually had the trees from each side of the trail touching eachother.

Made it back home today. 1,945 miles at an average of 8.4mpg.  At $5.50 a gallon, that was a pricey trip, lol.

Looks like fun.  It’s beautiful out there.

Yeah fuel is no joke.  It’s crazy.

Tracks are coming off and going up for sale. I want to get the longer tracks for next winter, to be able to go a few more places. They were pretty darn fun and now I need more, lol.

If the weather holds out, I’ll take the kids for a little ride tomorrow and see how sloppy our trails have gotten over the past few weeks.

We found a couple deep holes, but my little girl didn’t want to go out for very long. Still had some fun.

Nah, it wasn’t planned and with two kiddos on the quad freaking out as the water was rising, the phone wasn’t coming out, lol.

I’ve been itching to get out.  You’re not helping.  Haha.  Looks like a blast though!  I love seeing kids outside playing like kids should be playing.
