I can understand wanting to be involved more in the driving aspect, but sometimes when it’s a long boring road, I just want to set cruise and listen to some tunes.

This is why CC has been upgraded to adaptive, lane departure, pile of sensors making sure everything is as it should be.
Not you, but I think people check out too much when they set CC and turn on a podcast
- They forget the are not on their couch..

Absolutely agree. It's just so handy when people or stacked up in the left lane and you don't have to hit the brake every 2 minutes to adjust your speed to theirs.

Got a few things done that I totally wto post about.

Winch installed, fog lights and rock light to light up the spool run off the outputs on the winch so I can wirelessly control. Adaptive Cruise installed and all programmed. The programming and calibration took me a while. Lots of modules needed to be upgraded.

Morimoto headlights and 3rd brake light installed and I went for the license plate reverse light, but still have to install.

Also picked up custom painted badges waiting to be installed and and also got the Molle panels with the Black Friday sale and just got them installed tonight.

I also put in new Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ATs. I’m genuinely blown away with how good these tires are. Amazing in the snow, very quiet and handle decent for such a chunky tread. Only big downside is the weight. I wanted the three ply sidewall, so they are heavy. These are a little bigger than the Nittos at 295/70/18.

Truck is looking sharp.  I had the MTZs when they came out.  Always liked that tire.  Heavy SOB though.

Morimotos are in, I really like the look of them, but the light output isn’t any better than OEM.

I have some small stuff I’ve been waiting to get in. I hope to start on some of this week now that I can park the blue truck outside the garage.

OEM lights are getting ridiculous honestly.  Some are too bright so as it is.  They need to get on the ball with the laser technology that’s supposedly so good over seas.

The pattern is nicer, but you can tell the output isn’t any better than OEM. If I had the LED projectors, I wouldn’t have looked at any aftermarket options. Probably should have gone to the OEM projectors, but really hard to find Raptor ones (amber).

They look great.

On a side note, have you seen what Audi is doing with its taillights?  Ofcourse our legislation doesn’t allow it but they’re using OLED panels instead of actual bulbs.  It lets you dynamically change the patterns and allows an automatic partial brightness for tailgaters who get too close.  I’ll see if I can find it.
