No, I’ll stick to the three sets I have for it now I think…maybe.

Only three sets? Weenie. I have 3 sets for each vehicle including my son's car. You should see the back room in our basement. Looks like Tire Rack.

Ha, I don’t need more tires at this point, two sets for the truck and three for the ST is enough.

Sharping looking ride.  I like it a lot.

Finally got around to installing some stuff.

AFE intake, Fenfab charge pipe and Fenfab ECM cover. Small stuff, but definitely made a improvement in throttle response and cleaned up under the hood. Waiting on the strut tower brace and I’m going to order a aluminum coolant tank. Then it will be done under the hood and time to start thinking about exhaust.

So, you're saying that your wife noticed the difference in throttle response?

Yes, she actually did. Kinda why I think it made a decent difference.

Did the intake make a noticeable difference in sound?  I had an afe on my expedition and I loved the way it sounded under throttle.

Not really given it’s still a sealed box. You can hear the turbos a little with the windows down. You can pop the clear piece of plastic out of the box to get more noise, but it will also inhale hot engine bay air that way.

Steeda strut tower brace came in today. I think once I eventually order the coolant tank, that I’ll get the tank, bar and ECM cover done in red to match the ST badge and the Calipers.

That factory brace looked terrible.  It looked like stamped steel that’s probably flimsy as can be.  I bet that tightened that front end up nicely.

It was terrible and flimsy and was wide and blocked the oil fill. I ran it around some tight corners and didn’t notice any real difference, but it sure looks better.

Did you lower the Explorer or is it still on stock springs.  I would expect even the stock springs to be on the stiffer sportier side.  Maybe it’s just not the type of vehicle you can push to the extent you notice it.

Yes, lowered a little bit, basically 1.5”. The Steeda springs did improve the handling too.
