Demo day ride
« on: March 15, 2009, 09:30:09 PM »
I know we have a few riders in the group.  We had the Trek/Gary Fisher demo day in OKC today.  Sorry for the crappy Iphone pics.  Their truck even had clean wheel wells.  I got to finally ride a few that I had wanted to ride.  Nothing was like I have to have this.  If you get a chance to go to one of these demo days, I would suggest it

MTB
69er-nice not so sure about the single speed but it was nice
HiFi 29er-nice ride but did not try any climbs

ROAD
Madone 6.9 Pro-never riden a 9k dollar bike, nice but my pilot 5.2 is just fine

very cool!

I've had several Treks...the old 5200 then a 5500, then a Madone 5.5 Project 1...I ride Specialized now

Tarmac SL S-Works (not the new SLII) but I am fully aware of the 6k+ bikes....so is my forgiving wife.

I sure do love the new Trek's.  They have stepped up their game on the new Madones.

If you have more pics post them up...good stuff.

Thanks for visiting the Cafe, come back often.  There's always something new!
