I use it all the time... not sure that means that I'll be able to help though.  Ask away...  Sending Firefighter some coin?   :biglaugh:

I also use it frequently. I highly recommend spending the $5 and getting the "token" for added security.

thanks guys, I have been using it for years myself...but not sure about this.  If I add an email to my account does that mean that people can use that email to send money to me etc?

Or does it have to be my main email?

it is a secure network random number generator.

when you log on, you have to have physical possession of the token to read the number, or you can't log on.  the number changes every 60 seconds

lots of companies use the technology to allow safe, secure remote access to their networks for their employees

my company uses them, but I don't have a token .. I have an app that runs on my blackberry ..  I enter my pin, and it generates the repeating code for me .. pretty cool.

Didn't know Paypal offered that.

I've tried to find it on paypal.com but cannot... can someone link me to the token option or point me to it within my account?

Good stuff... thanks, D.  It looks like they have an option to SMS code to you each time that you utilize Paypal as well.  That looks kind of slick (and free, I think).

The way I read it is that you have the system text you a code each time you log in to Paypal.  You enter the code that was texted to you and you're in.  Without the code, it's a much more indepth procedure.  Obviously, if you don't have a SMS service, it could cost a little bit of coin to access but, maybe it's worth that part of it...

I think, for now, I may activate the text messaging key code...

Thanks again -- I didn't know that they did this...
