Excellent work RR. The Expy looks great.  :NW:

How do you think M205 compares to something like Menz 106?

I dont' think they are similar.  205 has much more cut to it...106 doesn't leave a flim behind like 205 does.  It just takes a little more effort to remove the 205.

I don't like the feel of the paint after using 106 but I like the results...however I haven't used it with the Blue pad yet, i used the black pad (which I found out is the wrong way to burnish)

I did take this photo today after washing the truck.  Just makes you feel good don't it?

I am off to to sunny Boston for the week so i will be off line most of the time.

I wanted to share with you all something.  My wife is somewhat "used" to having a nice clean /polished and waxed ride.  But she has never really said, wow, that looks amazing...kind of like its normal for her to see her ride looking good.

So today I am in Boston at a dinner with clients and I get a call from my wife...she says "I just wanted to tell you how incredible my truck looks, the paint looks like it is wet, i am so proud of my new truck, thank you"

Today was the first time she actually drove the truck since I wet sanded it and polished it all up and put 3 coats of Wet Obsession on it.  It does looks incredible.  The pictures don't really do it justice.

I was very happy to get that call, she has always been appreciative don't get me wrong but never has she called me to tell me how proud she is of the car based on the looks.

Needless to say I effort was officially justified.

Justin, I would say that the wet obsession had something to do with it. Thanks for making a great product.  I cannot wait to get it on my truck when it warms up.

Now, I can't wait for you to put it on your truck.  It looks killer on that color!

You should also try to spit shine with it.  I use to do that with my show car right before the show.  I thought it made a pretty big difference.

Welcome to the wonderful world of the M105-->M205 1-2 punch.

I just did a 1 step M205 correction on my focus, and well, to say the very least I was blown away. I have never done a real correction on my own car before (almost 3 years old, SERIOUSLY abused early on, got one time with the FLEX and m80 about 6 months ago).

Now, the paint is flawless save for the RIDS (didn't use M105), using nothing but M205 and either Meg's yellow or LC white (did half with the G110 and half with my Makita, both came out the same).

Looking at the depth of that blue paint, you definitely used M205 too.

For the first time, I actually can tell for sure my car has a clear coat after M205...it's like adding a layer of glass to the paint.

Nice work RR it looks great! I thought that you couldn't take out wet sanding marks with a DA? Were you using a wool pad on a DA?

I've been pretty happy with 105, I have done several cars with it and been using it since it came out.  As for the 205, I think I was one of the first in TX to have it...I do like it and to me it blows away the hyped Megs 80. I hope that Steve at PB is working on some non diminishing products for the future.  Never thought i would come back to say great things about Megs products, but 105 and 205 are very nice indeed.

RR, how often do you have to remind the passengers in the Expy to be careful when opening doors in garage?  Yikes...  :danger:  glad my wife's vehicle is a smaller SUV since kids are all gone.

Actually the way they are arranged I can open the passenger door until that first stop, but if we do have adults, we make them get out in the driveway.  What you don't see is on the left side, there is 4 ft of space to open the doors.

Oh, BTW it looks very nice!  :NW:

Thank you, I am probably going to work on the glass some more and use the 4" pads with the 1 Grand Glass polish, of course after a wash on Sat, the truck is super dusty.

You poor... poor souls that get to wash every week.  It's NINE degrees here.  This morning was the first time I've seen my truck read NEGATIVE degrees.

I hate winter... in fact, I hate it so much that I just thawed a pipe in my 1/2 bathroom -- thank god it hadn't busted and was only VERY slightly frozen.

Man, I couldn't live like that, just being in Boston and seeing EVERY car just jacked up made me freak out.

Haha.  I hear ya RP.  My truck looks horrible right now.  The 10 day forecast is looking good.  No snow after Monday I think.  I might actually get to wash it.
