Applicator Pads
« on: September 17, 2008, 09:48:38 PM »
So I currently use the Meguiar's foam applicator pads for applying wax.  Have any of you tried any others?  I was looking at Specialty Motoring's CCS red hand applicator?

I use nothing but, the red foam applicators that I carry.  They are very thick and durable, if one side gets dirty you can just flip it to the other side.

A few years back, when Meguiar's sold their foam applicator pads for a great price per dozen, I picked up 6 dozen.

I still have a pretty good supply! ;D

Least aggressive product first = The MOST aggressive process (product/pad/machine speed) that will get the job done by removing the LEAST amount of paint, with the LEAST amount of work, in the LEAST amount of time.

I also just picked up some of the red applicators (although got mine from glimmerglass, not from specialty motoring..same thing though). I like them. Feels softer than the yellow foam ones I've been using forever. I'll probably stick w/ these for a while. Change is good :)
