2020 Mustang Bullitt
« on: June 18, 2021, 07:09:06 AM »
Had a neat opportunity the other day to make a cool car look even better. A good friend recently bought a used 2020 Mustang Bullitt with low miles that just needed some TLC to make it perfect.

I started with a full wash followed by a Nanoskin mitt even though there was virtually zero surface contamination. I then made one full pass with 3D One on a White Lake Country pad on my Flex 3401. That was followed with CarPro Essence on a Green LC pad, followed by Menzerna / Jescar Powerlock for the LSP. My original plan was to ceramic coat it with CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0, but it didn't arrive in time. That said, I still think it came out pretty damn nice.

I probably should have waited until sunset to grab some truly epic pictures, but I wanted to get the car back to the owner. The mid-afternoon sun was pretty intense, but the beautiful Highland Green paint was up to it.

That’s a good looking car!  Nice work.  I bet in the setting sun that thing shows off every curve!

I only wish I'd kept it around long enough to see it at sunset. The owner was thrilled though. I guess that's what really counts.

While we all know it’s how the customer feels that matters in the end, if we are being honest, if we aren’t happy with it, their opinion doesn’t matter anymore even if they are happy with it.

My favourite Bullet yet! Great work as usual.

Is he gonna bring it back for a coating later?

We'll have to wait and see. He likes it so much that he's considering a Shelby GT500.

Which will need a ceramic coating obviously… haha

I’m actually a bigger fan of the gt350 even though they stopped production.  They 5.2 flat plane voodoo motor sounds ridiculous.

Guess what just got ordered? A brand new all white GT500. Oddly enough, he plans on keeping this one too.
