NEW guy
« on: September 15, 2008, 01:36:12 AM »
Hey guys it was recomended I come here and get some good advice on restoring my paint. looks like a great site you guys got here.

I have a little "detail" experance I worked at a "detail shop" while in high school.I try to keep my vehicles clean but I'm not so OCD as most.

I live in Utah and right now the truck I'm working on is my 01 ford supercrew Deep Wedgewood Blue in color. I am the second owner I have had it just over a year. I wash and wax by hand. and keep the inside clean .The paint is not the best. (a fair amout of scratches looks good form a couple of feet) but I try.

The other day I washed and waxed it and now I have "holograms" all over the truck and was looking for a way to fix my mistake so I came to the best.

Welcome to the site!

I think you will find that TDC is a great place for a personal experience to help you better understand how detailing can work for you. The guys here are top notch, and very friendly.

That said, if you can post up some pictures, as well as a list of the available products and tools in your arsenal (and/or your budget for expanding it!  :hb: ) we can come up with the best possible plan of attack for you.

Every case is unique, so blanket answers do not much apply.
