Oddly enough it is a thing.  A couple of weeks ago in Philadelphia, I was working a job at a high rise apartment building.  I shut down the parking so we could work.  Outsourced laundry guy pulled his van up on the sidewalk to go in and get someones laundry.  He got a ticket.  I laughed.  The end

That is real common around here in the high rises both rent & condo.

There is a dry cleaning drop off in the building and the clothes are returned back to the building.
- They get a large customer base just for doing the pickup and delivery.
The door man processes the pick up of the clothes same as package delivery pick ups.

No more going to the dry cleaners with the bag of clothes when you are walking around down town.
- It is not like in the suburbs where you drive and can leave the clothes in the car while you run your other errands.
