Sorry to say Mike, I was all ready to buy a drone this weekend and then went to a boat and outdoor show.

Bought a 2000w genny...

Sure, walk right past the boats!  :uugly:

I love 'em, but they are the biggest money pits in motorsports, lol.

Priorities.  Now you'll be able to charge the drone anywhere.

I have a 2000w Honda generator and an 8000w (rms) generac.  My boss gave them to me.

Yeah, I couldn't pass up $900 for a new Yamaha 2000 watt. It's not one you can parallel, but I probably would just buy a bigger one and sell this one if it ever came to that.

It's hard to tell from pictures but that's gotta be a big case.  I really wanted a medium density kind of foam.  It has to be rigid enough to secure it but soft enough not to be jolting.  It will be strapped to the SxS.  Otherwise the foam wouldn't matter to me.

I always thought yours was white.  Forgot you were a baller.

I think mine can run parallel.  We have so many at work, I'm not sure which one I grabbed.  I will likely never use it anyway.

Went to get pizza last night.  Had the drone with me and a few minutes.  Pulled over to fly.

Wow.  Tapatalk really crapped those up during the upload.  That sucks.

Edit - I fixed it.

Man, finally had everything come together after a storm.  We had fog, everything encased in ice, sunrise, no wind...

I got to witness all of it on my way to the dealership to get my truck looked at.

It's working up so fast today that I missed all of the good stuff.

These are straight from the camera.  No processing.

So, what did the dealer find with your truck?

Oh yeah.  The truck.  So the code I saw months ago that I couldn't be bothered to get looked at was something along the lines of the DEF tank Heater #2 being faulty.  I figured if #2 was faulty that must mean there's a #1 and it's ok so I'll deal with it later.  Fast forward to later, it is the DEF reservoir.  However it's a known problem and it's on back order.  Apparently there is also a knock sensor that's bad.  That's also on back order.  So it's at least documented and I just have to wait for parts now.

Or you could trade it in on a Toyota!  :funny:

Oh wait, I just hit 80,000 miles and it's been in the shop once.

Maybe if Toyota made the Tundra look nice and gave it a big ol diesel we could talk about that.

I had a bad sensor in the tranny shortly after I got it that was replaced under warranty.  This will be replaced under warranty as well.  The dealership called me yesterday to tell me then parts are in.  Not really much of a back order but I'm not complaining.  I just have to call them back to set up an appointment.

Very cool Pics above!

I'm glad to here that the truck will be sorted out under warranty. It makes is a bit easier to deal with.
