Because I already posted some of the pics above of the day we went riding, I figured I'd throw.up the video I finally edited.  Some of you have seen it on Facebook already.  It's long... Almost 10 minutes.  The song has much profanity.  Haha.  Just a heads up.

...<snip>... So, first mod will be a bumper....<snip>...

Can a replacement bumper really be called a mod ?

If so JP has already modded his new F150  :redneck:

LOL...yes my F150 is totally modded up!!   LOL

First mod done.  (We are going to forget the bumper thing ever happened.).

Sport Low Mod.  Anyone familiar with ATVs and UTVs know there is usually a HIGH gear and a LOW gear.  I can't speak for other machines but these are the same way but also have a Eco Mode and a Sport Mode.  However, Can Am decided that Sport mode shouldnt be available in LOW, which is where most riders are going to spend their time.  Basically you leave it in LOW unless you need to go faster than LOW will allow.  On this one, LOW gear tops out at 43mph.  Way faster than I will likely have it on most trails.  I've had it up to 66 so far though my understanding is it will hit 75.

Anyway, what this all means is LOW is basically stuck in ECO mode regardless of if the switch is in Sport or not.  The difference?  60% power reduction.  The Sport Low mod is a plug and play harness that tricks the computer into thinking it's in HIGH.  The only two downsides, it muh easier to tear stuff up in low with that much power and the gauge cluster always displays HIGH when really you're in LOW.

Long story short... $25+20 minutes=More Powerrrrr!!!

It's always a tree!  A tree was the culprit for my Grizzly bumper needing replacing, the Maverick bumper, the Mavic Drone getting stuck (same tree as Maverick bumper)...

Maybe you should be nicer to them?

Ok, I have to ask. Did it stop there all by itself or did your "brass balls" stop it?

And in answer to your question, yes, it would appear that trees are out to get you.

Actually my shin stopped it.  It pinned my leg in to the rear fender and that's what actually brought the machine to a stop.  This was years ago.  Just figured it may fit the topic.

That is not going to buff out.

You need to think about body armor not another off road vehicle.
