Hunker down, I was forced to rebook and fly home
They actually backed off a little on the models.  Atleast for us.  I don't think NJ has changed much because it went east a bit.  Last night totals increased to 20" locally.  This morning they backed them back down to 12-16" at the higher end of the ranges.  It's the wind that's got everyone worried.  People still don't have power from Fridays storm because of all of the trees completely uprooting everywhere due to constantly rain we get and high winds.  Now with a foot of snow fall today and 40ish mph winds, it could really put a hurting on the area.  Shall see.

Storm turned out to be a huge dud.  Atleast compared to what they were calling for.  I'd say somewhere in 6-8" range on non-paved areas.  Crazy thing is we got almost zero wind.  It wasn't even breezy.

Had the Maverick and a grizzly out on the streets and around the house some.

Very cool SxS Mike! Looking forward to some more pics and footage.

We just got back from my Dad's place. My boy had a absolute blast in the Rhino and Ranger. I was happy to get close to 500 miles on the sled.

I am currently waiting for the previous owner to receive the title and forward it to me.  He sent me proof he paid off the loan.

So this happened yesterday though.  I had tapped the bumper in a bit when I hit this small hill at a good clip.  I was pretty sure it just pivoted at the bolts.  So I hooked to a tree and was successfully straightening it out using reverse.  I thought... One more good pull.  And that was that...  So, first mod will be a bumper.

Can a replacement bumper really be called a mod ?

If so JP has already modded his new F150  :redneck:

LMAO.

In this case, possibly.  I may replace it with an aftermarket parts... Aka, an upgrade.  If go with another stock bumper then no, it's not a mod.

And what will we call the marks on the poor tree?

Nice options out there.  Looks like they might cost what a front bumper upgrade for your truck costs.

The only bumper I'm really interested in is the Dragonfire bumper.  I actually like the look of the stock bumper.  I don't like that it's aluminum though.  That's likely why it snapped the way it did.  I was going to pull it in and weld it until I realized it was aluminum.  I thought about buying the SuperATV bumper which is really simple looking but kind of ugly and modifying it to accept the stock plastics.  I found a used oem bumper on eBay listed at 159 OBO.  I made a low offer figuring on a counter offer.  The counter offer was for 157.  I may revisit that option.

While looking at options, I came across an eBay add for a used oem bumper for $5.  Best part... Local seller.  I messaged him and met up with him this afternoon.  Paid cash.  Swapped my plastics on to it since his were red and part of one was missing.  Done deal.  I do need to replace a bolt as I bent the last one and lost the threaded clip but I will stop at the hardware store tomorrow and grab a replacement bolt/nut/washers.

Cool! We're eagerly awaiting news (and pics) of how you repaired the tree.

I'm thinking a chainsaw and a large fire will make it look like the tree was never there.  Out of site, out of mind.
