Personally, I don't like the idea of WiFi connectivity. The Pro having a better controller is a bonus for me.

I wanted the Karma so I could make use of the camera and Gimble, but with the lack of sensors and some pretty odd drifting behavior. It's just not worth the headache for me.

Same reasons I wanted the Karma.  Mainly the gimbal.  Wanting a drone plus getting a handheld gimbal seemed like a huge bonus to me.  In the end it wasn't worth it.  If I remember right, the Karma didn't have a very good distance either.  1.7 miles or something.  Maybe even less.  I don't remember.

I just checked out that Karma

that is pretty cool....and versatile camera usage.

I would consider it...but I only did a few videos on the reviews...

The Karma has an advantage for no prop in the frame but that is easy to get around...adjust height and gimble.

I still think that Dji has the market but that is impressive from GoPro.

It arrived before 9am this morning.  Pretty awesome.  It is intimidating when you open it and see everything that comes with it.  The batteries and controller are charging.  The app is downloaded but I haven't done anything with it.  Likely won't be able to mess with it until this afternoon or evening because I have dinner plans.  Anyone who knows me, knows I'm not a people person.  I hate crowds.  I won't go within 50 yards of a restaurant on Valentine's day so we do it the day before or after.

This charging hub isn't what I expected.  It charges up to four batteries but not simultaneously.  It charges them in sequence of whichever battery has the most power left first and hen moves on to the next battery with the highest charge until all are charged.  So all four take 5 hours to charge.  I do like that it's a smart design though and the highest gets charges first, getting you flying sooner while the others continue to charge.

The bag that comes with it is high quality.  It's just not exceptionally spacious.  Luckily, unlike GoPros, there aren't a ton of accessories where you need to bring everything you can just to be prepared.

Consider getting a rapid charger

I have one for the P4 Pro...charges all my batteries and controller...FAST

Maybe eventually.  For now, I can deal with it.  I have three batteries.  Right now I'm just trying to figure out what all of the lights mean on the batteries while they're charging.  Haha

Jason, quick question.  I know you need to maintain line of site with the drone.  How sensitive is that?  Obviously you don't want it on the opposite side of a mountain.  But what if, for instance, you're behind a thicker tree line or something?

Line of sight is important...you can add range extenders that do an amazing job at increasing the output of signal for those times...what you want to do is always try to face where the drone is...if you look at your screen and it start pixelating, you need to go higher to get in line of sight.   Through trees is ok though. I had to do that in Tahoe..just don't turn your back to the drone...fly 1st person by lookin at screen...facing you, nose to you is 2nd person and everything is opposite on the sticks.

PS, I just got hit with a firmware update, so I know your controller and drone will have at least 2 updates once you get them powered up and connected

Are you getting insurance for your drone?

I thought about the insurance.  I just don't want to spend any more money right now. I also don't want to regret it.  I have another day to think about it.
