In all honesty, it was a "can I" kind of thing.  All in all I have about 45 minutes into it.  Funny thing is we have three Ram 4500s and that's the only truck that has those mud flap holders.

Mice eating it? No way you did that. It doesn't look costly enough.  :funny:

I did it pulling back in to the shop parking lot at the end of the day.  We have two entrances and one is a steep transition to almost level.  Traffic was backed up so I had to cut it hard.  The angle of the truck to the trailer caused a bunch of slack in the plug which went under the trailer jack which scraped the ground and shredded the wires.  If its not one thing, its another.

At least it's a pretty easy fix. You just need some solder and heat-shrink.

Or butt connectors and some electrical tape.  Haha.  Which is exactly what I did because I needed it back on the road immediately the next morning.  The entire plug was changed out by my boss on the job site yesterday though.  So its all new know.

I think the correct term is impressed.  Maybe not in such a good way though.

:redneck: They do work as a temp solution, but glad to hear it was all fixed up correctly.

I've seen too man people use butt connectors and them turn green and corrode the wires within a couple months.
