New stuff today
« on: July 14, 2016, 01:37:23 PM »
Got some stuff in and took a trip to wash solutions.    A dangerous place for people like us.   My detail stuff is in desperate need of reorg and clean out.   I got chit everywhere.

Having stuff everywhere is a common problem that I think all of us have.

damn it, the Jeep event went long and I ended up taking 2 hours of video via GoPro so I got to editing that and getting it posted.

So tomorrow I will tackle the detail cabinets.

I can't bring myself to throw anytning out.  I usually atleast donate it to work.

You might want to put some lips on those shelves, they are starting to sag.

1x2 should do the trick, but you will need to rip the edge of the shelf, on both sides, to install it.  You would do the front facing up, and the rear facing down.
- You really want both facing down, but that will create an obstruction to getting bottles out from the shelf below with how tight you are.

A cheaters way is to install metal angle ( 1x1 alum ), so you do not need to rip off as much material from the edge of the shelf.

- Instead of the 3/4" plywood, you would just use your existing shelf and force it straight when screwing the lip on.

Be careful if you use regular wood screws, they can break out the MDF.  You should use MDF screws when attaching them.

I hear ya, it was a lot of built up old stuff, old pads, old applicators, old tester product bottles and to be honest, very old product that had no chance of being able to be effective again. I still have a TON of stuff and refreshed a lot of my little stuff that I go through....cycling out some old worn out MF's too.    I also found pads I forget I had that were buried in crap I need to rid myself of.

Steve, that may be the wide angle of the photo...all seems to be legit in that cabinet.

We are thinking of moving in the near future so we are not sure if these cabinets are saying or going with us.  Depends on a few factors.  My Garage is a high selling point to this house.   But we have officially outgrown this house and i want an RV Barn.   So we are getting the itch to move.

Probably feels good ot get some if it cleaned up and the junk tossed.

I do like the Meg's bottles and sprayers, only spray head that has lasted for me with PB Spray and Rinse. I don't even clean out the head and it lasted 2 years.
